Arlington 11 June: The Whisperer's Value Bet, WHITE FIRE, won on offer at 12/1! "my value bet comes up in race 6, WHITE FIRE. WHITE FIRE was only beaten 6 lengths by Robert The Bruce in the Eastern Cape Derby at level weights. He then ran in a novice plate, again out at the weights and ran 4th beaten just 2 lengths by subsequent winner Manifest Destiny. He was drawn 16 out of 16 in that last run and he has a much better draw today. More iportantly is back in a handicap off a rating of 70, a rating lower than what he has run to in his last 2 runs. So a repeat of either of his last 2 runs in plated races, now in a handicap, would see him go close today off this rating. Hence I think there is a bit of value at 12/1. We can't get hurt at 12/1 having an each-way bet."
