Title: EDDINGTON WINS AFRICA'S RICHEST RACE!
Eddington gave the Zaki stable it's biggest winner ever by winning the R3,5 Million Grade 1 Gomma Gomma Challenge at Turffontein today, Saturday 3 May. Pierre had no option but to take him to the front when he jumped with speed and nothing else wanted to go, but in the end it paid dividends as he went start to finish in the talented hands of Strydom. Going through the 2 furlongs, the challenges started to come, but nothing ever headed him and he kicked again to win by 2.5 lengths. Dominic is over the moon and wants to thank Pierre, the owners; Mr Oakley, Mr Burke, Mr O'Brian, and everyone involved in making this his most special day in racing to date.
